The urgent struggle of feminism, both socially and on the difficult terrain of ethics, is an essential, distinctive part of today’s world, which has had to react to inequality and therefore been forced to review its past, a past dogged by a way of doing things that has only divided women from men, by assigning to each of them, depending on whether they belong to one gender or another, a certain somewhat unreal role in an absurdly hierarchical and therefore conventional world. The obsolescence of this division has also placed in question the human essence itself, and its need for liberation.
